This creamy olive oil ice cream features the smooth, rich flavour of our premium olive oils, packed with heart-healthy benefits and antioxidants. Grocery store bought olive oils usually lack the freshness and flavour to make this recipe shine! Our Ultra Premium olive oils add a fruity, peppery note, creating a perfect base for customizable toppings. Not only does our olive oil elevate the flavour of this dessert, but it also provides anti-inflammatory properties and supports overall wellness.
1 cup Vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp Cobrancosa Olive Oil (or Frantoio-Leccino for a fruity finish)
Flaky sea salt (to taste)
Roasted or Fresh Berries – Strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries will work great!
Caramelized Pears, Figs or Dates – Sear slices in Olive Oil until golden and soft.
Prepare the ice cream – Scoop ½ cup ice cream into each serving bowl.
Add Sea Salt – Lightly sprinkle with flaky sea salt for a savoury accent.
Add Toppings – Choose from one or more of the suggested toppings above.
Elevate with our Infused Balsamics: For more flavour variety, experiment with our Strawberry Dark Balsamic, Chocolate Dark Balsamic, or Alfoos Mango White Balsamic.
Flavoured Olive Oils: Add an unexpected twist with our Garlic Olive Oil or Lemon Olive Oil to complement the ice cream's sweetness.
Mix & Match: Create endless combinations by pairing different ice creams, olive oils and balsamics with your favourite toppings. While vanilla ice cream lets the toppings shine, you can also try coffee, hazelnut or strawberry ice cream.
