Directions
Heat Nelson Olive Oil Co. Cobrancosa Olive Oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place halved dates, cut side down, in the hot skillet. Sear for about 1-2 minutes until lightly caramelized.
- Flip the dates and sear for another 1-2 minutes until caramelized on both sides.
- Remove dates from the skillet and let cool slightly.
- Scoop vanilla ice cream into serving bowls or plates.
- Arrange the seared dates on top of the ice cream.
- Drizzle additional Cobrancosa Olive Oil over the dates and ice cream.
- Sprinkle with sea salt to taste.
