Traditionally used in North African and the Middle Eastern cuisine, Harissa is a condiment which is made from dried hot chili peppers, garlic, toasted caraway, toasted coriander, and toasted cumin, pounded into a paste with olive oil. We use Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a copious amount of peppers to make our infused olive oil very spicy, and one of the hottest in our collection. Drizzle onto pasta and pizza for a spicy kick, or use in place of regular olive oil in hummus. Pairs well with Mango white balsamic, Cinnamon Pear dark balsamic, traditional dark balsamic, or Sicilian Lemon white balsamic.
